Airship add-on Pt 2.5 ;-) Of Air and Fire

Wow my crew, you are gaining in strength and size by the hour! Welcome aboard all new backers!!

We have an update from Brightshield games that they'll have something to us tonight for their further additions to the Airship package :-)

Now - about the Air and Fire Airship update ;-)

First off, we're adding little airships - a set based on the Dhow will be added. Tiny sterncastle, and a fore-rail. Think the first Airship package, but smaller. These will be swappable into the Shallop pieces as well if you prefer.

We're also doing the Second part of our airship components to fully bring airships into your campaign. Giving more hull siding options, the ring of fire 'floating' base, with a radical stern castle alteration set. Most of these pieces will be fully compatible with the core ship- giving a LOT of decorative options to your vessels.

We all know that my 2d art isn't the greatest, but just like the Cthulu Stern teaser - it won't disappoint when it's converted to 3d.

$22k: Dhow added to all pledge levels with "All Unlocked Ships"

A dragon turtle swims into view...

 Ahoy crew!

We came across the legendary Dragon Turtle - a friend to those who treat nicely with it, and a dire foe to those who disrespect him. The beast is massive, with rending claws, a spined, draconic tail, a ridged, massive shell and a head like a red dragon mated with a snapping turtle. He said his name was Fuzzy. Who were we to question it? We treatied with the beast, and learned that not too far off we'd meet up with another variant of Airship, or two before attacking the necromancers dire vessel. 

 $20k - Dragon Turtle added to Monsters of the Seas pack!

An above water, and water edged version will be available. The dragon turtle will be hollow shelled, and a bit modular to help with increasing or decreasing size. Please note it is a WIP digital sculpt, and details will only improve. This is NOT the final pose.

Ahoy new crew, and those brave lads and lasses that have stuck with us since the start of this journey!

I'm glad to have you all about, so gather close- so that we can speak a bit on what's new and yet to come!

We heard back from the Larry "The Gryphon King" Dixon- he has been busy on some projects, and will have art to us "soon". 

We also have another guest artist and developer that will be joining us - Christopher Rowles- who wrote the excellent "Izzy's Guide to Slightly Used Airships" ( http://www.dmsguild.com/product/231613/Izzys-Slightly-Used-Airships ) will be contributing to the Airship pack, as well as lending a hand at a set of basic rules for ship and airship gameplay, combat, and 'suggested merchant prices"! We will have a update later today with a little more information on what may be in store, along with some more art!

Many of you have asked for printable crew members to journey to the islands you encounter, and to man the ships you assemble- we have heard your call, and will be including 4 unique adventuring rogue crew member designs to the Island Adventure set, and 4 unique crew members for your ships!

$19k - Core Ship Unlock: Crew added! 2 cannon crew, a lookout, and a peg legged cook

$19k - Core Ship Unlock: Queen Figurehead (because the King needs a queen)

$19k - Island Adventure Unlock: Adventuring rogues! 4 adventuring rogues journeying into the islands of adventure- a pirate dragging a chest of plunder, the timid lantern bearer, a pirate with a vest of flintlocks, and a rogue with shovel and saber.

Note- there are some printer issue related errors on the printed pieces. 

Will post more print tests once the side wall for the sterncastle finishes :-)

Ahoy new crew and old! We're in the last couple of days!

In this update to the log, we stumbled upon the Sumbanese island tribe- their houses with high reaching roofs, and simple wooden walls inspired us to remember them for helping us resupply.  We picked up a stowaway that we can't seem to shake from the yard arm- a small monkey. Onward to the next island and more adventure!

Partnering with Backerkit

We've partnered with Backerkit to help the ease of transition from Kickstarter to our websites portal. This will let backers access files faster as they are developed, add on items that might have been out of reach financially initially, and give us a stable platform to distribute files with. 

Preview of the C'thulu Ship sterncastle progress-

This is just a sneak peak at the C'Thulu ship sterncastle progress. There's still some work to be done- but it's developing well I think. I'm still not satisfied with the look of the bottom section- there's work to be done fleshing out the tentacles there. The 'rudder' which will clip in is not yet visible, but will add more 'protuberances' and tentacle-y look to the "face". 

We're still waiting to hear from Larry Dixon on further concept art for further fleshing out the Red Gryphon ship designs. I'm as eager as everyone else to see how the Red Gryphon ship parts come together :-)
