Latest Updates from Our Project:

The Second Map has been explored- Onward to the third!
about 6 years ago – Fri, Mar 02, 2018 at 02:03:41 PM

Ahoy Crew, and passers by- listen to the Captain of the merry voyage. Today we've met with the Gryphon King- (Larry Dixon) and bring the first part of his gifts to thee. He shall be following close behind- and has sketched in places on our map where yet more designs may lay bobbing in the waves. As we pass them by, we'll glean whether they hold wonder or water (after asking him to do the honors of opening them).

Beyond lurks dangerous and exotic waters that few lads or lass's have come back from. We've been given this shred of a map by our former navigator- who took his last breath after the escape from the demon ship.. It fills my heart with fear and wonder to think of what it may mean. New peoples, new customization options for our ships, and dangers that may prove allies or things of true dread.

Come aboard me hearties, take your weapons and rum - and join us on what may be the last leg of the journey!

Progress on OpenLOCK conversion
about 6 years ago – Fri, Mar 02, 2018 at 01:27:19 AM

A quick glimpse on what's currently being tested in regards to OpenLOCK conversion. While variant pieces haven't started yet- we're off to a great start with the conversion of the hull and decking.

Decking and hull is hand-sculpted wood grain

Bowsprits and the decorative prow pieces will connect on OpenLOCK clip ends.

The Rudder will be designed with motion in mind, print without support- and also clip together leveraging OpenLOCK clip ends.  You may notice that some pieces are labeled on the bottom- this is for user ease of use, and does print nicely.

14k Update Unlocks!
about 6 years ago – Wed, Feb 28, 2018 at 08:28:45 AM

Avast, that was a bloody isle that took some time to navigate past.

We have the designs for a armored prow for the ship, as well as a angelic figurehead to help counter the horrors we saw on the island, and to defend us on our journey forward.

We've encountered countless wrecks about the island, and were chased by a ship that should never stay afloat. We flee Northward, armored in ship and in minds, to investigate the rumors of some Eldritch demon ship, and then onward for reinforcement from the Gryphon King.

$14k - Core Ship Unlock: Armored Prow

$14k - Core Ship Unlock: Angel Figurehead

$14k - Core Ship Unlock:

Core Ship Sea Wrecks and Ghost Ships conversion kit- Tile bases for creating shipwreck effects- allowing you to connect hull and floor tiles at a 15 or 30 degree angle to form shipwrecks rising above the water. Also includes damaged two variants of all of the main core ship hull and decking components (except for the decking at the nose of the lower level), allowing you to better show battle damage, and to create haunted looking ships!

$14k - Island Adventure Add-on: Suspended rope and plank bridges

$14k - Island Adventure Add-on: Water terrain tiles: Open Waters, Reef crest and whirlpool 3d tiles- making you able to set anchor outside the reefs of a isle in style

The $13k bell tolls!
about 6 years ago – Sun, Feb 25, 2018 at 02:15:01 PM

We set to the small pirate port of Tel' Mẹtala, to hear of what may be heard- coming in we noted a variety of sunken ships sticking up from the waves, dashed upon the reef at different angles.

Bartering for supplies, we find Ships Mortars, a new figurehead, and a Vikings long ship schematics.

Superstitious fools claim there's a ghost ship haunting the next isle- we're going to go to investigate- could be they're saying such foolishness to get us to stay away from greater plunder...

$13k Unlocks:
Core Ship: King Figurehead

Core Ship: Ships Mortar

Core Ship: OpenLOCK to 2d transition Ship water 'trim' tiles. Have your ship edged by rolling waves and leave a 'wake' behind.

Beach Set Unlock: OpenLOCK to shore waters water 'trim' tiles. Have your ship edged by rolling waves and leave a 'wake' behind - or have her bobbing gently near the shore.

Accessory not shown previously, but that has been listed on the core ship inventory of parts- the cannon ball box.
