Latest Updates from Our Project:

Test prints and riser walls.
about 6 years ago – Fri, Apr 06, 2018 at 12:53:26 AM

The lower hull revisions are wrapping up slower then anticipated. Two of the four affected panels are test printing now, and the other two will follow.

The revised lower deck decking has been uploaded. The prow curve L/R pieces have a beautiful new texture.

New lower deck prow curve tiles.

Risers are being uploaded as well.  I should have a pictures update tomorrow on some neat build options they can unlock.

Their rail to riser piece and stairs to below decks as well as from the ships deck up the riser will be done within a few days.

While heavily inspecting the lower deck hull over the last day, I noted that I could better optimize the lower stern hull sections' ability to hold the upper deck in place (and have less chance of interfering with clips). So the peg placements for the bonnet and lower deck stern hull were adjusted. While I was at it, I added alignment writing to assist your assemblies.

Once the lower deck flat hull pieces are done test printing and inspected, the improved lower hull pack will be uploaded and the sterncastle pack Will be updated with the improved bonnet.

A forecastle doors and hatches pack is being uploaded also.

We will include a parts revision sheet download as well so that those already printing can compare file names/ sizes.

Still shooting for 1-2 days for the assembly guides initial version.

Thank you all for the support :-)

Progress and some parts updates coming by tomorrow-
about 6 years ago – Wed, Apr 04, 2018 at 11:10:04 PM

First off, let me say you've all been awesome so far- everyone as a whole has been super happy with the models and quality of texturing etc. that have been released as a whole.

We have encountered a couple small issues that were brought to our attention by having many sets of eyes on the parts now.

One of our backers found a flaw in board depth across some of the lower deck flat hull panels on the inside will be an easy fix (pinprick holes) that hadn't been noticed.

Also was noted that the Lower deck prow curve decking pieces need an adjustment to the OpenLOCK clip slot towards the prow.

Will be in a file distribution pack by tomorrow. Updates to the lower deck hull components, as well as the decking prow curve piece should be in a file update set by tomorrow.

The Core Ship Riser pack (which will let you increase the height of the upper deck sections to customize your ships upper deck profile further) will be finished test printing by tonight, and pending results will be uploaded at that time as well.

Deck hatches are working :-)

Revised Sterncastle pack is uploaded.
about 6 years ago – Sun, Apr 01, 2018 at 08:04:20 PM

Revised Sterncastle Rear has not been print tested yet, but passes all software tests. No signs of odd, unusual or flawed geometry on close inspection.

Any interested should be able to print the stern rear from the revised pack without issue, will post another update with print test results tomorrow.
